India's industrial production grows 1.2% in July

• The country's industrial production grew 1.2% in July this year.
• According to the Central Statistics Office data, Manufacturing output grew 0.1% in July and electricity generation increased 6.5 %.
• Capital goods output contracted 1% in July.
• Industrial output had grown 4.5% in July last year and contracted 0.2% in June this year.
• Consumer durables output shrank 1.3%, but production of consumer non-durables rose 3.4% in July.
